The Approach R10 is the portable launch monitor that brings the course to you – it’s small and easy to move from the home to the driving range. Garmin radar technology makes it easy to track club head speed, ball speed, smash factor, swing tempo and estimated distance to help you improve your shot consistency and play a better tactical game.

The Approach R10 is equipped with multiple practice and game modes. The Home Tee Hero mode offers the ability to play virtual rounds with up to three other golfers on any of the more than 42,000 preloaded courses worldwide with full-colour CourseView mapping (subscription required).

Driving Range mode lets you practice on a virtual driving range, providing detailed metrics for every shot. Work on improving shot consistency by tracking clubhead speed, ball speed, spin, launch angle, launch direction, smash factor and more. With the Swing Capture feature, you can use your paired smartphone’s camera to automatically record videos of your swings and associate them with the advanced swing metrics recorded for that shot.

Analyse your swings with the Training mode using detailed descriptions and illustrations of swing metrics and compare swings from different sessions to track your progress and beat your personal bests. Stats are tracked for each club with a shot dispersion chart based on estimated ball flight. Utilising this data is key to understanding your strengths and potential areas for improvement.

With weekly tournament mode you can compete in a virtual tournament against other golfers around the world and compare scores in a global leader board (subscription required).

Play on photorealistic courses whenever you want. The TruGolf E6 Connect mode records all your shots in detailed, high-definition graphics on your E6 Connect Software (subscription required).

The Approach R10 works with the free Garmin Golf app, which lets you compete, compare, and connect with fellow golfers playing on more than 42,000 courses worldwide (subscription required). Players can post their results and compare data, rankings, and stats in the app. Plus the included phone mount easily attaches to a golf bag for better viewing and easier interaction.
